Phil is captivated by the process of creating and transforming spaces. His keen eye for design and leadership skills laid the foundation for his success in the construction and design industry. Stephanie Prendergast
Stephanie grew up moving around the country, spending many years on the east coast, which nurtured her love for nature. She moved to Toronto for University, and quickly discovered her passion for interior design by transforming her own spaces. Her journey began as a fervent desire to create beauty, coupled with a genuine love for working with people, and she was inspired to pursue a career in design and construction. Stephanie’s approach is a seamless blend of creativity and professionalism, where every project is a collaborative journey with her clients. She thrives on the joy of helping people turn their vision into reality, making their spaces feel like an extension of themselves. Stephanie's dedication extends beyond the realms of design; she believes in the power of spaces to influence well-being and happiness. It's not just about decorating rooms for her – it's about creating environments that nurture and inspire.
Mark Hryniw
Mark grew up and went to university in Calgary and then spent several years living in Asia. He moved to London in the early 2000’s and immediately got his start in construction flipping houses with a partner and working for a contractor. After several years of this he took his real estate courses and became licenced realtor. During that time he was always busy with construction projects as he performed major renovations to his own houses, his eight rental units, his vacation property and consulted on countless projects for friends, family and real estate clients. After having worked with the Evergreen team for several years, Mark gave up his real estate license after 16 years at the end of 2023 to focus solely on our thriving business.
Eric Flodrowski
Eric has been renovating houses since he was a teenager. He grew up in London and has lived in the city most of his life. Eric's career background is in mechanical engineering and project management, but at his core he loves to build things. Understanding problems and finding solutions is a core part of his personality. His journey has been fueled by a passion for transforming spaces and creating homes with a personal touch. With Eric you're not just getting top quality construction service; you're getting his lifelong dedication to craftsmanship and a blend of engineering precision with a love for making homes uniquely yours. When he's not working on projects, Eric enjoys traveling, cycling, rock climbing, snowboarding, and playing music. He shares his life’s journey with his wife and three kids.
Our Story
Evergreen Design & Build is a London, Ontario Canada-based design and renovation business owned and operated by Phil, Stephanie, Mark and Eric. While our individual experiences started at different times and in different ways, Evergreen originated with Phil taking a day out of each week to help people with their smaller projects. Smaller projects turned into larger renovations and Stephanie came on board to add her design expertise. Thus Evergreen became a formal partnership. As the scope of projects grew, Mark joined to help manage the increasing number of steps and trades involved. Eventually, those three incorporated and founded Evergreen Design and Build as it's known today. As business picked up, we brought Eric into the fold as a second project manager and he eventually became the fourth owner. While the company consists of the four of us, we rely on a large roster of professional and qualified tradespeople and wholesalers that we've worked with for years to bring your project to fruition.
We believe our clients have a story to tell through their space. We work from the early stages to understand our client's individual needs, and put together a plan that enables their goal to become reality. Our design process helps ensure a unified vision, and a functional plan to bring the feeling of home to our clients while being attainable & affordable.
